Offline Marketing

My traditional background includes marketing, sales, PR, publicity, freelance writing, songwriting and photography, among other pursuits. For example, I have written feature articles, brochures, annual reports, press releases, flyers, PSAs, photo captions, speech drafts, special event booklets and materials, radio spot copy, record and concert reviews, web site copy, magazine articles, songs, jingles, thousands of sales letters and PR pitches, surveys, ad copy, ad slogans/themes, sales proposals, contracts, CD liner notes and booklets, press kits and other miscellaneous materials.
--	Won awards for photography and for editing an internal news magazine in the healthcare field
--	Served as a consultant and publicist to jingle writers, editors, directors, animators, healthcare PR directors and educational organizations
--	Worked as a freelance publicist and photographer
--	Attended and shot production stills at dozens of jingle and television commercial production sessions and shoots
--	Placed press releases and feature articles in consumer and trade newspapers and magazines
--	Placed clients on television news and feature programs
--	Have been interviewed by WNBC-TV as a hospital spokesman
--	Helped arrange and execute special events
--	Served on state committees and helped organize speakers for important conferences
--	Represented jingle writers in their quest to obtain work from advertising agencies
--	Organized photo sessions in which I shot promo photos for several bands
--	Written dozens of songs and several jingles
--	Traveled throughout the region as a sales rep, calling upon clients at healthcare facilities as far as Suffolk County and Westchester; and
--	Created press kits and other media materials
